No matter whether there is a sit down meal or buffet, or whether there is simply a bar, close-up magic can fit in with any arrangement providing atmosphere and fun. The informal atmosphere is ideally suited to close-up magic as the entertainer can move easily from one group to another, or one bar area to another. As an adjunct to dancing or a band or speeches, it is ideal since the close-up performer can adapt to the requirements of the organizers. It is great to break the ice at your wedding . When Alan performs, the closer you watch the less you see!! You hold the items in your own hands, but still they vanish, reappear, change colour...It's impossible - yet it happens. Summer months can see the entertainment performed to your guest outside as well. |

It is a mixture of Mix'n Mingle and Close-up magic. It can be performed whilst your guests are being seated and/or between individual courses of the wedding breakfast, lunch or dinner. Working with the venue staff, it can also be used to cover unforeseen delays in service. Alan ensures his performance never interferes with the meal or speeches. The entertainment provides a memorable supplement to the meal without ever detracting from the quality of the meal itself or its service. |

With his incredible mind reading, card handling skills and comedy, Alan offers plenty of opportunity for audience participation and interaction.

The Children

Entertainment for the children during the speeches or just giving the parents a rest! How many weddings have you been to where the children are bored, running riot, entertaining themselves, the noise is tremendous, things knocked over, children crying, fighting, bursting ever balloon in the place!
Well that is a hell of a wedding or is it just HELL. What if there was a way of passing 90% of the problems to somebody else to sort out, this could be called HEAVEN.

There are many great magicians and magical entertainers out there and Alan may not be any better or worse than any of them but he does go that extra mile to ensure that your wedding is truly magical. He can even create personalised magic for some of your guests, sometimes at no extra charge, to give them extra special memories of the day. Strolling / Mix'n Mingle Magic
|
|
Strolling magic gives your guests the opportunity to mix with and even surround the magician during the performance. This style of magic is ideal for the less formal setting, such as a buffet, while your guests are arriving.
During the reception, the magician will entertain small groups of your guests without the need for stages or cumbersome props because the magic is quite literally in his hands and more often than not, in the hands of your guests. |

Close-up Magic

| Close-up magic is probably the most amazing form of personal entertainment that your guests can experience. With the magic happening literally inches away from his or her eyes, everyone watching will have the opportunity to share in this unique and intimate experience of a close-up mini magical cabaret. Alan performs with warmth and humour, captivating his audience and leaving them totally spellbound with his mysteries. |

With his comedy and incredible feats of memory, mind reading and card handling skills, Alan offers plenty of opportunity for audience participation and interaction.
For the larger functions you may decide to hire another magician to ensure that everyone can join in the spectacle. A general rule of thumb is to have one Magician for every 100 people attending. If required Alan can arrange this, or for a different type of entertainer to be available.
Table Magic based on 4/8 at a table > 6 tables an hour
Close up / Strolling / Mix'n Mingle Magic based on 35 guests per hour.
Three hours or more with breaks and snack for Alan and Rose - who assists with the magic.
